Happy Easter!
Let us greet each other: Happy Easter!
Today is a blessed day. Our Lord has risen.
We pray that the joy and hope of Jesus’ resurrection will be filled in our hearts, in our families, and the entire world.
The nature has begun singing the spring song. Spring is Passover. We pass from cold winter to warm spring. We transition from hard layers to soft new leaves.
The Church sings the song of resurrection. Resurrection is Passover. We pass over from distress of death to glory of resurrection. From dark despair to bright hope.
As the day light extends, I visit the squirrel park. As the snow melt, we discover various small streams here and there. As water flows down, it sings the joy of spring.
Recently, we have spent ample time celebrating various liturgical events: Stations of Cross, Holy Week, prayers and abstinence along with donations. We also created many streams for our faith to flow and sang the joy of resurrection in each event while following the light.
Most of small branches on the trail appears to have been slashed; in fact, they have been devoured by small animals. However, the remaining braches are sprouting new buds and leaves; they also sing the hope of spring.
Our lives also have numerous ups and downs. It is difficult just to live our own lives as we age but to make things worse our families compound the problems. However, even in those moments, we give thanks and praise; we sing the hope of resurrection.
Nature sings the joy and hope of spring.
Church sings the joy and hope of resurrection.
Enjoy the spring in nature and the resurrection in our faith.
Happy Easter!
Let us meditate for a moment.
